The calibration measurement is done to get your scanner in line with the Agrocares database. It is needed to get a reliable analysis of the material you scanned.
Scanning the white side of the calibration cap is requested for every order you scan.
Scanning the yellow side of the calibration cap is requested in various situations:
- Every 18 hours since the last calibration.
- After doing 2000 scans. This means that a calibration can be requested when you are half way in doing your 5 scans for a sample.
- 5 Minutes after not finishing an order. So, if you are required to do 5 scans of a sample and you take a break while doing so.
After finishing 200 orders, the app will ask you to go to the Account menu and to reconnect the scanner. This is requested to refresh the calibration database that is saved on your phone.
