On the Scanner handle there are 3 lights located that indicate the status of:
- Scan button light (green led). Indicates when the scanner is ready to start scanning
- Bluetooth light (blue led). The light indicates that the scanner is searching for a Bluetooth connection (blinking led) or if it is ready to connect via Bluetooth (constant blue light).
- Battery light (yellow/green led). A small blinking light every 3 seconds means that the scanner is stand by. A bright blinking light every 3 seconds means that the battery is charging. A bright light that blinks every second means that the scanner is starting. When the battery light is on continuously then the scanner is activated.
Start up the Scanner:
When you start up the scanner it performs an internal system check. This starts when the scan button has been pressed for >3 seconds. It starts with a beeping sound and blinking simultaneously of the scan and battery light. The video below shows the sequence.
Scanner is ready for Bluetooth connection:
After the start up sequence the scanner is ready for the Bluetooth connection with the smart phone. The battery light is now steady, the Bluetooth light starts blinking and the scan button is off. The video below shows the sequence.
Scanner is ready to scan:
When the scanner is connected to the phone and inside the app the scan menu has been started the scanner is ready to start the scanning process. The scanner can only start the scanning process when all the lights are continuously on. Click on the following article to see how to perform a scan with the Scanner.
Turn the scanner off:
