Crushing & Subsampling Procedure (LIAB)

Before analyzing a soil sample, it must be properly prepared. The first step is to crush the sample and divide it into subsamples before drying.

• One subsample is used for analysis
• The second subsample is kept for storage and traceability (for example for re-analysis in case of errors)

Proper crushing and subsampling ensures:

• The sample is representative of the field
• Reliable and consistent analysis results
• Availability of a backup sample if needed
