You can register a new field via the 'Clients' tab in the portal. Register a new client or find an existing client via the search bar. Open the clients profile by double clicking the name and select the Fields tab. For a new field, click the 'Add New Field' button.
You will navigate to a new window where you can enter the basic field information (field name, size, unit, etc), and where you can draw the outline of the field.
The ‘Draw your field option’ allows you to draw the sampled field in a map. The map will automatically navigate to the farmers address when you start to register the field. The pin point is located according to the exact GPS coordinates of the client’s address that you entered during registration.
You can click on + and – items (or scroll the mouse) in order to zoom in and out on the map. The hand shape icon can be used to navigate within the map. You can find any location by using the search box located in the right top corner of the map. Enter the name of the location, or select the correct place from the list. The system will focus on the selected location.
You can draw your field in the map with the “draw a shape” function. After found the right location for your field, you start drawing your field with the ‘draw a shape’ icon. Select the icon and click with the left mouse button on the map where the first corner of your field should be. Click again on the other corners of your field and connect the first and last dots with each other. The system will fill the shape with a colour when you have successfully created your field.
You can delete your field again by selecting it with the cursor and to click the “delete” option afterwards. This will allow you to start again. You can save your field when you are ready. Click the Save Field button on the top left corner. You can return to the client’s profile by clicking the < BACK option.
Your new field is now shown in your clients profile. You can view your field via the function 'Polygon View'. You can edit your field via the function 'Action'. Analysis results from your samples are displayed on the field shape that you have drawn.
