A Scanner is considered to have a charging problem if the charging indicator in the battery icon on the Scanner is not blinking as it should when charging.
Follow the steps below to determine whether the issue is caused by the charger or the Scanner.
Test the charger
Use the charger from the Scanner that is not charging to charge another working Scanner. If the other Scanner does not charge, the charger is likely faulty.
Test the Scanner
Use a charger from another working Scanner to charge your Scanner. If your Scanner charges with the other charger, your original charger is faulty. If your Scanner still does not charge, the issue is likely with the Scanner itself.
If charger is faulty: We recommend that the client purchase a replacement charger.
If scanner is faulty: We advise that the client contact support via info@agrocares.com. Before contacting support, first check whether the battery may be faulty.
Checking for a faulty battery
Charge the Scanner at 1A (1 ampere) for 12–18 hours.
After this charging period, check the Scanner battery performance.
If the Scanner is fully charged by the end but still loses power quickly or does not hold a charge, the battery may be faulty.
In this case, please contact support at info@agrocares.com. Our support team will advise whether a battery replacement is required.
