Uploading Alpha scans

Activate the SoilCares uploader on your laptop before you start scanning samples on the Alpha sensor (Scanning with the Alpha). You will see a window like the image below. The uploader should run in the background of your laptop, even when your internet connection is temporarily unavailable. 

What the uploader does for your lab:

• Renames the scan name immediately after the scan is saved. This prevents the Alpha software from overwriting the first Alpha scan with the second one.
• The uploader sends the scans to the SoilCares system.
• If there is no internet connection then the uploader will keep the scan and send it when the connection is restored.
• The uploader registers which sensors are connected to a scan

AgroCares installs the uploader on your labs computer before it is shipped to you. If you replace your computer or connect an extra computer to your lab then you need to  have the uploader installed again. Contact support@agrocares.com for uploader installation.
